Reading of Thesis Doctoral
The next 10 April 2017 will realise the defence of the Thesis Doctoral of JORDI HENALES SALAMANCA in the Sala by videoconference 0005P1008 to the 12 h. TITLE: "The callejero historical of Alicante: of the II Republic to our days. Places of history and memory". DIRECTOR/To: Dr. D. José Miguel Santacreu Soler.
Of the 5 to the 6 April of 2017 will celebrate in the University Headquarters of the City of Alicante the II International Meeting Cartesiano that will treat the subject of the Politics of the subjectivity and government of yes in Descartes. The meeting frames in the activities developed by the Classroom of Philosophy of the UA and will explain like speakers with the professors Elena Nájera and Antonio of Murcia
Kitsch, queer, camp, binarismo sexual, glam, are some of the words that transitan by the original work %u201CThe camp cañí. Folklore Popular, kitsch and gender in the contemporary Art Spanish%u201D. This has cost him the granting of the First Prize in the area of Social Sciences and Humanities of the XV University Contest Archimedes summoned by the Ministry of Education to the student of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Alicante, Lidia García García. The work has been tutorizado by the professor Francisco Javier Consuegra.
The University Headquarters City of Alicante, c/ Ramón and Cajal, 4, will receive the Wednesday 15 March, to the 19:00 hours, the presentation of the book "The gender of the violence: women and violence in Spain (1923-1936)%u201D, work awarded with an accésit of the XXVI Prize Victoria Kent, of the University of Málaga, that will be presented by his author, Adriana Marry Alone, doctor in History by the University of Alicante.
The professor Mónica Moreno will participate in the Cycle "València, CAPITAL OF THE REPUBLIC 2016/7 - 1936/7" with the Alicante "conference in war". The act will celebrate on 27 February to the 12 hours
This course explores one of the most terrible contentions of the history of Occident: the First World War. It treats of a cataclismo that has not enjoyed of the attention that deserved in Spain and that now, with occasion of his Centenary, open to scrutiny from distinct fields of the know. The course tackles subjects like the experience of the trenches, the literature that went out of the front, the humour in the retaguardia, the films more impactantes of the Great War, and the forms insert in the landscape that today commemorate it, like the monuments to the fallen and the military cemeteries
